Art Nouveau in Vienna

Description

Once loathed, the aesthetics of Art Nouveau have found many fans today. Art Nouveau was an expression of a revolutionary spirit and stood for an avant-garde school of thought that consciously sought to break with tradition - away from the historicism of the monarchy, which copied stylistic elements of the past, and towards the new objectivity.

Let's explore this exciting art epoch together, which is hardly preserved as well in any other city as in Vienna. We will immerse ourselves in the period around 1900, in a Vienna that was once one of the most important metropolises in the world, shortly before the First World War plunged Austria, Europe and the world into chaos and changed everything.
