Jewish Vienna
Description
Together we discover the exciting history of the four Jewish communities of Vienna and learn about their tragic fates. The existence of Vienna's once flourishing first Jewish community was brutally ended at the beginning of the 15th century.
Regrettably, this was not an isolated case in Vienna's history, as the Nazi terror regime shows, in which more than 90% of Vienna's Jewish population was expelled or murdered. We go in search of traces and discover the Jewish history of Vienna with Stefan Zweig, Theodor Herzl and Sigmund Freud, which is as formative and fascinating then as it is today.
